Sharpness and blur often meets in Johan Petterson´s paintings. He plays with various bands. On a fuzzy, abstract background sits a clearly illustrated bird. A recurrent motif is birds. In some of Johan Petterson's new paintings we encounter them in the borderland between children´s books and the bird guide. Maybe not so much to learn about birds, rather to learn to interpret and express emotions.
